How to write Paragraph

                                                             Paragraph

Paragraph শব্দের অর্থ হল অনুচ্ছেদ। কোন একটি ভাব বা বিষয় সম্পর্কে পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত কিছু বাক্য লিখাকে Paragraph বা অনুচ্ছেদ লিখন বলে।

Paragraph এর বাক্যগুলোর মধ্যে সঙ্গতি থাকা উচিত এবং বাক্যগুলো এমনভাবে সাজাতে হবে যেন একটা ধারাবাহিকতা বজায় থাকে।

• Paragraph লেখার নিয়মাবলী

1. একটি মাত্র বিষয় বা ভাব সম্পর্কে Paragraph লিখতে হবে।
2. Paragraph এর প্রথম দুই বা তিনটি বাক্যের মধ্যে Topic Sentence থাকতে হবে। যে মূল বিষয় সম্পর্কে   Paragraph লেখা হচ্ছে সেই বিষয়টি যে বাক্যে উল্লেখ থাকে তাকে Topic Sentence বলে।
3. Paragraph এর বাক্যগুলো পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত হতে হবে।
4. একই কথা বারবার লেখা যাবে না।
5. বিষয়ের বর্ননা ধারাবাহিকভাবে লিখতে হবে।
6. Paragraph বেশি বড় করা যাবেনা। সাধাররনত ১০, ১২, ১৫ বাক্যের মধ্যে হবে।
7. Paragraph এর বাক্যগুলো একইসাথে লিখতে হবে।

• বিভিন্ন ধরনের Paragraph

1. Information  Table ভিত্তিক Paragraph মূলত কোন ব্যক্তি, বস্তু, বা বিষয় সম্পর্কে তথ্যের টেবিল দেয়া থাকবে। প্রদত্ত তথ্যগুলো পড়ে সেই অনুযায়ী লিখতে হবে।

2. Clues ভিত্তিক Paragraph এ বিষয় বা ভাবের যোগসূত্র দেয়া থাকবে সেই যোগসূত্র অনুযায়ী লিখতে হবে।

3. Question ভিত্তিক   Paragraph -এ  ধরনের Paragraph এ কিছু প্রশ্ন দেয়া থাকবে Paragraph এ এসব প্রশ্নগুলোর উত্তর থাকতে হবে।

4. Model ভিত্তিক Paragraph - এ ধরনের প্রশ্নে Paragraph এর Model দেয়া থাকে। সেই Model অনুসারে আরেকটি Paragraph লিখতে হয়।

                           A Tea Stall

Tea is a popular drink all over the world. A tea-stall is a common sight in towns and market places. The Tea stall has usually two rooms. In one part there is the  fireplace of the stall. In other part there are chairs, tables, and showcases. On a table in one corner of the room there are cups, plates and spoons. In the showcases there are loaves, biscuits, eggs and sweetmeat. A tea stall is the attraction to the tired passers-by who get into the stall to refresh themselves by taking tea and other things. The visitors rest there for some time and then go away. Some people particularly idle young men visit a tea stall to have tea and to pass away their time in idle gossip. Sometimes  they discuss politics in a tea stall. Thus a tea stall is a noisy and busy place.

               

                            Book Fair

Now- a- days a book fair has become very popular. It has created a sense of Internet for books amongst the general mass. In a book fair hundreds of pavilions are set up. All sorts of books- fictions, books of poetry, books of stories, novels, biographies, autobiographies, dramas, books for children, books on medicine, engineering, politics, history, philosophy, religion. general knowledge, reference books etc are displayed. The stalls are decorated tastefully and thus the attraction of the customers is drawn. There are also food and drink stalls. The main purpose of a book fair is not sale but it offers a rare opportunity to access the advancement made in publication of books. A book fair becomes crowdy especially in the afternoon of a holiday. Both male and female customers gather  a book fair. The writers also visit the fair regularly. Seminars and cultural programmes are also held. A book fair reminds us that books are our best companions. It helps people by promoting the publication of books to spread education and knowledge among them.
