There lived a clever fox in a jungle. One day he fell into a trap as he was passing through the jungle. He could get out of the trap but lost his tail behind, without-----

There lived a clever fox in a jungle. One day he fell into a trap as he was passing through the jungle. He could get out of the trap but lost his tail behind, without his tail the fox looked very odd and strange. He felt sad and ashamed too. He thought and thought and hit upon a plan. He called a meeting of all the foxes in the jungle. When all the foxes came to the meeting, the fox without tail felt pleased and said, I've made a great discovery. What use are the tails? No use at all. Without any tail. I feel free, light and sportive. I can run faster than before. So cut off your tails as I've done. The foxes listened to him with attention and many of them called his suggestion a good one. As a result, most of the foxes said, "We should cut our tails off without any delay." At this moment a wise fox said, listen to me, please don't accept his suggestion that fox fell into a trap and lost his tail. Now he looks funny. So he wants us all to look like him. Don't follow his suggestion. His trick being found out, he ran away. Thus the wise for frustrates the plan of the deceitful fox.

One day the farmer called his sons and advised them to live in peace. But they did not listen to him, the farmer became very sad and hurt. He thought that their future was dark, The farmer became very old. He thought he might die at any moment. He would not live long. What would his sons do after his death? If they quarreled with one another, they would spoil his property and be poor. He also thought of their future and at last he hit upon a plan. He asked them to bring a bundle of sticks. The sons did so. He then ordered his eldest son to break the bundle. He tried again and again but failed. The five sons tried one another. But none could break it. The old man then ordered them to untie the bundle. They untied it. The old man then told them to break the sticks one by one. This time they could easily break the sticks. Now the old man said to his sons. "My dear sons, you see that you could not break the bundle. But when the bundle is untied, you could easily break. So remain united and then none will be able to do any harm to you.

একতাই বল

একবার একজন বৃদ্ধ/বৃদ্ধ কৃষক ছিলেন যার পাঁচটি ছেলে ছিল। ছেলেরা সব সময় নিজেদের মধ্যে ঝগড়া করে আলাদা হয়ে যায়। বৃদ্ধ/বৃদ্ধ কৃষক খুবই অসন্তুষ্ট ছিলেন। একদিন কৃষক তার ছেলেদের ডেকে শান্তিতে থাকার পরামর্শ দিলেন। কিন্তু তারা তার কথায় কর্ণপাত না করায় কৃষক খুবই দুঃখিত ও ব্যথিত হলেন। সে ভাবল তাদের ভবিষ্যৎ অন্ধকার, কৃষক অনেক বৃদ্ধ হয়ে গেল। সে ভেবেছিল যে কোনো মুহূর্তে তার মৃত্যু হতে পারে। তিনি বেশিদিন বাঁচবেন না। তার মৃত্যুর পর তার ছেলেরা কি করবে? যদি তারা একে অপরের সাথে ঝগড়া করে তবে তারা তার সম্পত্তি লুণ্ঠন করবে এবং দরিদ্র হবে। তিনি তাদের ভবিষ্যতের কথাও ভেবেছিলেন এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত তিনি একটি পরিকল্পনা করেছিলেন। তিনি তাদের লাঠির বান্ডিল আনতে বললেন। ছেলেরা তাই করল। এরপর তিনি তার বড় ছেলেকে বান্ডিলটি ভাঙার নির্দেশ দেন। তিনি বারবার চেষ্টা করেও ব্যর্থ হন। পাঁচ ছেলে একে অপরকে চেষ্টা করেছিল। কিন্তু কেউ ভাঙতে পারেনি। বৃদ্ধ তখন তাদের বান্ডিলটি খুলতে নির্দেশ দেন। তারা তা খুলে দিল। তখন বৃদ্ধ লোকটি তাদের বলল একটা একটা করে লাঠি ভাঙতে। এবার তারা অনায়াসে লাঠি ভাঙতে পারল। এবার বৃদ্ধ তার ছেলেদের বললেন। "আমার প্রিয় পুত্ররা, তোমরা দেখছ যে তোমরা বান্ডলটি ভাঙতে পারনি। কিন্তু যখন বান্ডিলটি খোলা হয় তখন তোমরা সহজেই ভেঙ্গে ফেলতে পারো। তাই ঐক্যবদ্ধ থাকলে, তাহলে তোমাদের কেউ কোনো ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না
